MacSafe Mode is one of the more controversial features of OS X Mavericks, a feature that lets users turn off the Safe Mode toggle on the lock screen to lock screen notifications from other apps.
In some cases, the feature can even force a Mac to launch a separate app when you lock screen the Mac, as long as the notification does not show a lock screen notification from another app.
In the case of OS 9 Mavericks, MacSafe mode works quite well, but it’s a bit of a letdown compared to other features that could have helped this Mac.
The feature works by adding a small, white box that you can see on the Lock Screen Notification tab, which is hidden by default.
The box contains a button to turn off Lock Screen mode, and then the user can click it to turn on the feature.
In theory, this makes the feature work by default, which makes MacSafeMode an even better option for users.
Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
Some users report having to turn Lock Screen Mode on manually when their Mac is in the Lock screen, which also seems to cause problems with Lock Screen notifications.
Thankfully, there’s a way to turn MacSafe back on.
The first step is to install the latest version of MacSafe, which comes in the form of MacOS Sierra.
Once that’s installed, head to the MacOS Utilities app, and tap on the MacSafe tab.
On the main MacOS sidebar, tap the Lock icon, and click on the Advanced option.
Here, you’ll find the following option: Lock Screen Off/On/Hide (if it’s not there already): Select this option to turn your Mac off Lock screen notifications when Lock Screen is off (this will only work if your Mac is on the same network as your PC).
MacSafe is a simple feature, but MacSafe does a good job of keeping things hidden from you.
If your Mac does not have the LockScreen notification option in the Mac Utilities app at the moment, it can be turned off by right-clicking the Mac and selecting the Disable option.
You can also disable MacSafe if you’re not comfortable with the feature or just don’t want it on your Mac.
To turn on Lock Screen, right-click your Mac, select Properties, and check the Lock tab.
When the Lock feature is checked, the lock icon will now appear on the left of the Lock notification box, and you’ll be able to turn the feature on or off from the Lock Notification menu.
You will have to be able click the icon to turn it on or turn it off.
MacSafe works great, but there’s always one other way to do things better.
The other option that MacSafe can turn off is Notification Bar Access, which requires you to enable the Notification Bar in Notification Center.
To enable Notification Bar access, right click on your Notification Center, select Notification Bar, and select Toggle Access.
MacOS will now display a notification bar in NotificationCenter that looks like this: On the left side, there are three tabs: General tab, Lock tab, and Lock and Notification Bar.
This tab allows you to toggle Notification Bar on and off in Notification center.
Mac users can toggle the NotificationBar on and the Lock bar off in the same manner.
The Lock and notification bar tabs can also be accessed by pressing the button next to them in Notification Bar’s General tab.
Once MacSafe has been enabled in Notificationcenter, it’s also possible to turn notification bar access off by clicking on the notification bar icon in NotificationBar.
You’ll then have to click on Enable Access in Notification bar’s Lock tab and then enable Lock Bar Access.
To disable notification bar Access, right tap on Notification Bar and select Disable Access.
In Notification Center’s Lock and Lockbar tabs, you can toggle notification bar on and Lock Bar access off.
It’s worth noting that if you’ve disabled Notification Bar or Lock Bar in MacOS, then you’ll need to enable Notification Access again in Notificationbar’s General Tab to turn lock bar access back on, so be sure to do so before turning on Lock Bar or Notification Bar to use it.
You may also have to disable notification access on your computer to turn notifications off in notification center.
To do this, head over to Notification Center and double-click on the Notification bar icon.
This will open up Notification Center in a window similar to the one above.
To toggle notification access in Notification Centers lock bar, rightclick on notification bar and select Turn Access.
When notification access is turned off, the Mac will now turn notifications back on in Notification centers lock bar.
If you want to enable notification access again, head back to Notification Bar as usual and tap the notification icon in the General tab of Notification Center to toggle notification Bar Access on.
Once you turn on notification access, the notification will now have a lock icon in it.
Macs without Notification Bar are not affected by notification bar bypass, and those without NotificationBar Access
